Whether you travel to the fair with public transportation or by plane, train or automobile: EXPO REAL is always quick and easy to reach.
Get a first impression of the f.re.e exhibition grounds. Detailed information on the halls, exhibitors and products on display at the trade fair can be found from July under Hall plan.
The fairgrounds of EXPO REAL are directly connected to the subway stop Messestadt West on the U2 subway line. From the main train station, you can reach the exhibition center in about 20 minutes without changing trains. The EXPO REAL ticket entitles you to use public transportation to and from Messe München (MVV ticket for zones M-6) on the specified day of your visit. As a ticket for the Munich public transport, the ticket is only valid in connection with a passport or ID card.
Note: More Tickets can be purchased from Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG), Münchner Verkehrsverbund (MVV) and Deutsche Bahn (DB) (tariff zone M).
From almost anywhere in Europe you can travel comfortably, safely and in an environmentally friendly manner by train to Munich Central Station. From here, it takes about 20 minutes to reach the trade-fair center by taking the U2 subway line headed to Messestadt Ost. If you prefer to travel by rental car or taxi, please add at least 25 minutes to your journey time.
Please note that the S-Bahn stop Riem is currently cancelled. You can find more information here. It is best to take the U2 from the city in the direction of Messestadt Ost and get off at Messestadt West.

Messe München is located directly on the A94. You can reach the exhibition center via the Feldkirchen-West exit (exit no. 6) or the München-Riem exit (exit no. 5) .
A dynamic traffic guidance system regulates the flow of vehicles on the site . It will direct you to the nearest available parking spaces during the event.
Marked parking spaces are available for visitors. Parking costs 14 euros/day in the outdoor car park and 17 euros/day in the multi-storey car park.
The e-charging concept at Messe München features more than 80 charging stations and one supercharger.
Messe München is located 42 kilometers south of Munich Airport. Shuttle buses, public transport and taxis take you directly to the exhibition center.

During the EXPO REAL, we offer our own Messe München shuttle service to and from Munich Airport. The buses depart every 30 minutes and travel nonstop to the exhibition grounds.
The suburban train (S-Bahn) station for the lines S1 and S8 is located directly below the central area of the Munich Airport. Trains depart every 10 minutes for the city center. Depending on the route you choose, the ride takes between 45 and 60 minutes.
The Messe München exhibition center is directly connected to the two subway stops Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost on the U2 line. From the main train station, you can reach the fairgrounds in about 20 minutes without changing trains.
Note: This year's Print@home Ticket entitles holders to use public transportation to and from Messe München (MVV ticket for zones M-6) on the specified day of your visit. As a ticket for the Munich public transport, the ticket is only valid in connection with a passport or ID card.
The fixed-price for a one-way ride to the trade-fair center costs EUR 85. It takes about 35 minutes.
Taxis at the airport are available directly in front of the airport’s terminals—at Messe München, you will find them in front of all entrances open for the respective trade show.
