Accreditation & Press center

We would like to thank you for your interest in EXPO REAL and we look forward to seeing you at the trade fair and reading, seeing, or listening to your reports! It is best if you arrange your press accreditation directly online.

Online and on-site accreditation

Accreditation: Online and on site

Proof of your journalistic activity

Proof of your journalistic activity is essential for both online accreditation (by upload) and on-site accreditation (by presentation).

Please note that presentation of a press card is not sufficient grounds for accreditation. Messe München reserves the right to request further proof of journalistic activity in accordance with the points specified in the accreditation guidelines.

Please also note the accreditation guidelines of Messe München.

With online accreditation, you will receive your free press ticket by email in advance of the trade fair. Please have the required proof of your journalistic activity in a thematically relevant editorial context ready for upload as a PDF or JPG file (max. 1 MB).

Proof can be:

  • an officially valid press card (not expired)

AND

  • an imprint proving your editorial activity (not older than 6 months)
  • a recent article bearing your name (not older than 6 months)
  • for photographers: image credits

Please note: Accreditation is granted exclusively for the purpose of journalistic reporting. Messe München therefore reserves the right to individually check proof of journalistic activity.

Please understand that the verification of online accreditation may take several days.

On-site accreditation: Please remember to bring a second proof of your journalistic activity with you when registering on site. The press card alone is not sufficient for accreditation.

Persons not eligible for accreditation:

We cannot provide press accreditation to the following groups of people:

  • People without a journalistic background, e.g. customer service representatives, sales managers, advertising managers, analysts, PR consultants, company press officers, social media managers and private companions
  • People with expired press cards
  • People residing in Germany who present a foreign press card
  • Persons who present a written assignment from a freelance journalist
  • Persons who are active on social networks exclusively for private purposes
  • Persons who wish to use trade fairs solely for acquisition purposes for their own fee-based radio, TV, image or online productions
Parking and press tickets

  • Press parking: Accredited journalists may park in the parking garage west free of charge. Entry tickets for the parking garage can be exchanged for free exit tickets at the Press Center. In case you want to arrange your accreditation on site, please show your evidence referred to our accreditation guidelines.
  • Note: Your press ticket entitles you to use public transportation to and from Messe München (MVV ticket for zones M-6) on the specified day of your visit. As a ticket for the Munich public transport, the ticket is only valid in connection with a passport or ID card.
