Measures relating to the safety and hygiene concept (last updated August 12, 2020)

On the event site
The number of visitors is determined by the available event space. The authorities' requirements regarding the number of visitors allowed can thus be met. Additionally, this creates the basis for ensuring that the minimum distance of 1.5 metres is maintained Due to the necessary admission controls, information is available about how many people are on the event area.

At stands
Due to the requirement to wear a mouth and nose cover, the number of visitors to the stand is not limited. If the infection rate develops in a positive way, masks may be removed at tables at stands. The requirement in this case is always that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters can be safely maintained.

On public transport
For visitors arriving by public transport, the current rules regarding local public transport apply.

At hubs
At known hubs such as the entrance area or cloakroom where lines can occur and large numbers of visitors congregate, special rules will apply. Employees will also receive infection protection training.

In forum and conference areas or seating
The minimum distance of 1.5 meters applies in forum and conference areas. Measures such as access control and suitable seating etc. will ensure that the minimum distance can be maintained.

General guidance system
When determining the routes, care must be taken to avoid hubs, for example with floor markings. Elevators may only be used by a maximum of one person.

Ventilation
Messe München has its own ventilation concept. The ICM - International Congress Center München is equipped with a modern ventilation system that operate with the highest possible proportion of fresh air and the lowest possible proportion of circulating air. In addition, the indoor air is increasingly replaced by fresh outdoor air.

Mouth and nose cover – indoor areas
At the moment, a mask covering the mouth and nose must be worn in all indoor areas on the venue, regardless of whether the minimum distance can be maintained. Participants who do not have their own mask will be provided with one.

Mouth and nose cover – outdoor areas
If the minimum distance of 1.5 meters cannot be maintained, a mask must be worn in outdoor areas on the the ICM – Internationales Congress Center München (e.g. courtyard).

Mouth and nose cover – Smart Space
If the infection rate develops in a positive way, masks may be removed at tables at stands. The requirement in this case is always that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters can be safely maintained. Further, the exhibitor must collect separately the contact details of anyone who takes part in a conversation.

Mouth and nose cover – in conference rooms
The conference rooms are seated with sufficient distance between each other. When taking a seat, the mouth-nose cover can be removed. It must be put back on when leaving the seat. There is a maximum number of participants per conference room.

Hygiene at the Smart Space
The exhibitor must name a person present at the stand as a contact person for ensuring compliance with the hygiene and clearance rules, such as the disinfection of useful areas.

Cleaning at the Smart Space
An hourly cleaning service will be organised and run by Messe München for all exhibitors at the EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit.

Sanitary areas and cleaning
The sanitary facilities will be cleaned at regular intervals. Hand washing and disinfection facilities with adequate distancing are provided.

Disinfectant dispensers and cleaning
Disinfectant dispensers will be provided at all key locations on the site. Surfaces which are touched regularly (e.g. counters, tables, handrails) will be cleaned more often.

Doors
All doors with the exception of fire doors will be kept open - as far as possible - in order to reduce contact with surfaces.

Traceability in the event of an infection
All event participants must register in advance via ticket purchase, i.e. via their visitor ticket, exhibitor pass or service partner pass, in order to obtain access authorization. This ensures that contact persons can be quickly identified in the event of a corona infection.

Tracking at (trade fair) stands
At the moment no separate tracing at the stand is necessary. If the infection rate develops in a positive way, the mouth and nose cover can be removed at stands at the table. The requirement in this case is always that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters can be safely maintained. Further, the exhibitor must record the contact details and the presence at the stand of the contact person separately. The exhibitor is free to decide how this registration is carried out: Either with a digital registration tool of their own or the data can be entered manually, e.g. using a list or business card.

Number of visitors
For each event there is a defined number of visitors allowed on the event area at the same time. This number is based on the event space and is set by the authorities.

Catering
In catering areas, the general rules for Bavarian catering establishments apply.

Catering
For reasons of space and hygiene regulations, you cannot provide your own stand catering on the Smart Space. Catering at the event is available only from our catering partner Käfer Messegastronomie. You can find further information here.

Parking
Messe München, the ICM – Internationales Congress Center München and the MOC Veranstaltungscenter have a parking concept with enough parking spaces and are experienced in organizing increased traffic.

Medical care – Exhibition grounds & ICM – Internationales Congress Center München
The medical service is constantly present at events—from setup throughout the entire trade show and stand dismantling period. The first-aid stations are located in the main entrances West and East, as well as in Hall C4, depending on hall occupancy. Paramedics and physicians will treat medical emergencies directly on the spot. If necessary, the public rescue service (ambulance) is called in to provide assistance. There is also a hygiene official on site.

Summit Ticket

No, day tickets or group tickets are not available via the online ticket shop or on site.

Please note that it is not possible to cancel tickets purchased for the EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit. Please refer to the General Terms and Conditions of Messe München, which are available at the time of booking, regarding special terms and conditions.

For reasons of data protection, only one ticket per person can be ordered / purchased for EXPO REAL. Co-ordering of tickets is not possible. After successfully completing your ticket order, you will receive your ordered ticket by email as a mobile ticket and as a PDF attachment for printing. Access is gained by scanning the individual barcode of the Mobile Ticket or the printed Print@home ticket. There will be no exchange on site.

No, due to data protection regulations, each person must buy their own ticket themselves.

Summit Tickets can be downloaded and saved as a mobile ticket or PDF immediately after completing the online order and registration process. In addition, you will receive an email with your mobile ticket and Print@home ticket to the email address you provided. The corresponding email sender address is ticketing@messe-muenchen.de .

Please carry your Mobile Ticket or Print@home Ticket with you on both days, as it entitles you to direct access to the event. Access is gained by scanning the individual barcodes stored on each ticket. There will be no exchange on site.

If you wish to print out your ticket again (e.g. in case of loss) – or if you do not print it until shortly before your arrival – you can do so conveniently at any time using your access data to your Messe München account. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the EXPO REAL ticket service at registrierung@messe-muenchen.de .

After successfully completing the booking and ordering process, you will receive your ordered ticket by email within 24 hours as a Mobile Ticket and Print@home Ticket as a PDF attachment. Your ticket will allow you to pass directly through the EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit turnstiles on site without waiting.

Once your order has been placed successfully, the Mobile Ticket and the Print@home Ticket are available for direct download. You will also receive the tickets by email. You should receive this email immediately, but within 24 hours at the latest.

  • In rare cases, emails may end up in your mailbox’s spam folder. Please check your spam folder or contact your administrator.
  • It is possible that you have entered your customer data with an incorrect email address. In this case, please contact the EXPO REAL ticket service at: registrierung@messe-muenchen.de

No, personalized tickets (e.g. with your name) are not transferable.

  • Since Summit Tickets are personalized and non-transferable, official photo identification must be presented for on-site inspection.
  • Any barcode that has already been validated will be recognized as such by the electronic admission control and the ticket holder of a copied or duplicated Summit Ticket will be denied entry.
  • If you have lost your ticket and are afraid that it will be used by someone else, please contact registrierung@messe-muenchen.de to have your lost ticket blocked.

Digital Pass

Please note that it is not possible to cancel tickets purchased for the EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit. Please refer to the General Terms and Conditions of Messe München, which are available at the time of booking, regarding special terms and conditions.

For reasons of data protection, only one Digital Pass per person can be ordered / purchased for EXPO REAL. Co-ordering of Digital Passes is not possible. After successfully completing your order, you will receive confirmation by email. Approximately two weeks before the EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit, you will receive the access link for the conference platform by email. We will also send you all of the details you’ll need to make the most of your participation in the digital event.

No, due to data protection regulations, each person must purchase their own Digital Pass themselves.

After successfully completing the booking and ordering process, you will receive your order confirmation by email within 24 hours. From two weeks before the event, you will receive your personal access to the digital event area of the EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit.

One app – everything you need to know about the EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit

Individually tailored to your needs: On your personalized home screen, you can keep track of your EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit exhibitor and event favorites at all times. It’s easy to create and manage your favorite lists. You can also search specifically for exhibitors, sectors and events. And you can quickly reach your destination with the interactive floor plans.

One of the app’s major highlights is its significantly expanded networking area! Complete your user profile today! The more information you add, the easier it will be to network with interest-ing decision-makers and experts from across the real estate industry. New in the networking area:

  • Interest and expertise tags: Share your interests and areas of special expertise to make sure other app users have a clear overview of your experience and professional expertise.
  • Add your job title to your name and that of your company, which are automatically taken from your ticket registration. Other app users will find you faster via the improved search function.
  • Save interesting contacts as favorites.
  • Attractive feed function: Whether it’s a conference or travel tip – exchange real time in-formation with other app users on any and all topics relating to the EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit!

Network participants can now use the new filter functions for “interests,” “expertise” and “country” in the app to find the most relevant participants. Having a complete profile therefore makes it much easier to expand your network with the best con-tacts. The upgraded smart search function now also allows you to search for participants by name, company and job title.

Tip: Add a picture and a short personal description to your profile.

To use the networking area, you need a valid ticket for the EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit. Both summit tickets as well as digital passes give you access to the networking area.

The networking area is open 365 days from the date you purchase your ticket.

Simply sign in to the app using the same Messe München account you created when you registered your ticket and enter your email address and password to access the app’s full features. You are now ready to enable your profile to search, find and contact other EXPO REAL Hybrid Summit participants.

Please note: In order to use the app’s networking area, you need to authorize the publication of your personal data in the EXPO REAL app when you purchase your trade fair ticket.

The app’s list of participants shows all of the summit attendees who have approved the publica-tion of their personal data in the EXPO REAL app. The app lists their surnames, first names and company names. If you wish, you can also personalize your listing by adding your job title, a description and a profile image as well as interest and expertise tags.

An informative profile allows you to search for relevant participants as well as to be found by others yourself. For a better matchmaking!

When you register your summit ticket or digital pass, you will be asked whether you would like to be listed in the app’s list of participants free of charge. If you want to be listed, simply tick the appropriate box. If you didn’t tick the box when you registered your ticket, don’t worry: you can do this in your registration profile at any time.

You can access the networking area for 365 days from the date you purchased your ticket.

As a visitor or student, you set up your Messe München account when you purchase your ticket .

As an exhibition partner representative, you create your Messe München account when you personalize your summit ticket or digital pass. Alternatively, you might already have an account which you set up to log in to the Exhibitor Shop or to register your company as an exhibition partner. Enter your email address and Messe München account password in the app’s login area. You can now get started and use the full features of the app’s networking area.
